From the Skies of Nepal
Flying drones across Nepal — from the dense urban streets of Kathmandu to the remote high-altitude terrain of the Himalayas — taught me one thing clearly: Nepal's drone pilots desperately need better education about the rules that govern their flights.
As a trained engineer and professional drone pilot, I've navigated CAAN permissions, dealt with security clearances, and operated in some of Nepal's most challenging environments. I know firsthand how confusing and time-consuming the regulatory process can be.
I started Drone License Nepal with one mission: to become the most trusted, most comprehensive platform for drone education in Nepal. A place where every pilot — from a first-time hobbyist to a professional surveyor — can find accurate, practical, and actionable guidance.
With the upcoming official drone license system in Nepal, we're also building the training infrastructure to ensure Nepal's pilots are the best prepared when that system launches.
